Druck, a leading provider of precision instrumentation, required an engaging solution to showcase their products and services at the Farnborough Airshow.

The Problem


With numerous companies vying for attention, the client needed to ensure they created an eye-catching booth to stand out and attract attention. The client required a dynamic interactive tool which would allow attendees to easily access information at their own pace, sparking their interest before engaging with staff.
Gathering contact information and ensuring ease of follow-up communication was an important factor, and the interactive needed to work seamlessly across various platforms, without technical issues or malfunctions.

What We Did


To meet Druck’s needs, we designed and developed a specialised interactive tool incorporating the following features:

Interactive Brochures and Product Selector:
We integrated three previously created interactive brochures and a product selector tool into a cohesive touch screen experience. The landing page featured a background with four prominent pulsing buttons, each accessing a different area of content.

Accessibility:
Buttons were designed larger to cater to touch screen navigation. Content was made accessible and functional across different devices, including phones, tablets, and desktops, ensuring a consistent user experience.
We added additional background elements such as a timer to return to the home screen when inactive so the content is ready for the next user.

QR Codes for Enhanced Interaction:
Links were replaced with QR codes to prevent users from navigating away from the touch screen. Users could scan QR codes to access additional product information on their personal devices.

Tracking User Interaction:
We implemented tracking mechanisms to monitor user interactions with the touch screen content. This data would help Druck understand which sections were most engaging and gather insights for future improvements.

We worked with the technical team to install the content to the touchscreen at the show.

The Result


The touch screen solution was successfully deployed at the Farnborough Airshow, providing Druck with an effective way to showcase their products and services. The interactive and accessible design drew attendees’ attention and facilitated a seamless user experience. The addition of QR codes allowed users to further explore products without leaving the touch screen, and the tracking features provided valuable data on user engagement.
