Global law firm Reed Smith sought to transform their annual DEI report by transitioning from the traditional static PDF to a dynamic, interactive version.
The Problem
Reed Smith’s static DEI report faced limited engagement due to its length and static format. As an 80+ page pdf, the user experience was poor, it was difficult to highlight key information effectively, and the format made it hard to update content easily.
What We Did
We created an interactive digital report incorporating an easily navigable structure with dynamic content, animated data charts and intuitive interactivity for a highly improved level of usability. This included the following features:
Engaging Cover Page: A vibrant cover page with an appealing image and an introductory pop-up to smoothly guide readers into the report.
Flow and Readability: Enhanced flow of information with a well-structured timeline and colour scheme that made the content visually appealing.

Chapter Structure: Five distinct chapters, each with a clickable header that expanded into the full chapter content, allowing readers to easily navigate through sections.
Interactive Elements: Hover-over charts, dynamic images, and pop-up badges for business inclusion sections to keep the content fresh and engaging.
Highlight Statements: Colour blocks to highlight key statements, ensuring critical information stood out.
Consistent Formatting: A professional and slick look consistent with the original PDF document, while leveraging the advantages of a web-based format.
Downloadable PDF: An option to download a slightly shortened version of the report for those preferring a PDF format.
